EARTH_hourRincon has always believed in helping organisations go green through IT solutions. Even in our own offices, we switch off the lights and fans when not required, fix leaking taps, switch on the water cooler only when required, use the printer only if absolutely necessary, use the other side of papers and recycle envelopes. These small things are not only cost effective but more importantly help us contribute to the environment. In keeping with that, Team Rincon is supporting Earth Hour this year on Saturday, March 23, 2013 from 8.30 pm to 9.30 pm.

What is Earth Hour? (Taken from the Earth Hour website)

Earth Hour is the largest movement for the planet in human history, spanning 7,000 cities, 152 countries with a digital reach of 200 million. Earth Hour is much, much more than a symbolic action of switching off lights for an hour; it’s a continuous movement driving actions, big and small, that are changing the world we live in.

There is no doubt about it: the world is facing some of the most critical environmental challenges in its history. That may make the journey to a sustainable future seem difficult to imagine, but it is far from impossible. Change this big needs you. It needs every one of us. Together our individual actions add up to make a difference collectively. In fact, change is already underway.
